Chef Camille Le Caër hails from Brittany, France. His passion, love and faith in food started at thirteen years old when his Grandmothers began to teach him how to cook. Established in 2017, our company, Pastry by Camille, is the culmination of chef Le Caer's experience in the French and American pastry worlds.
The journey of a pastry chef is to manifest joy and memories. Everything at Maison Le Caer is made with love and positivity. When it's shared with you, you will share it with the world.
Each morning our chefs prepare everything fresh. We offer a variety croissants, crêpes and galettes, tartes, cakes, eclairs, and vegan and gluten-free options. Pair any of these with a delicious Overwinter Coffee, or tea selection from Palais des Thés.
The space doubles as an art gallery featuring local, national, and international artists working in all media. Our goal is to bring you joy and culture, from our wall space to our pâte a choux.
…But our best new find had to be Pastry by Camille, a bakery from a Gallic-accented French chef who told us he’d married a Buffalonian. We could taste the fresh cultural representation he’d brought to the avenue with spicy-sweet creations like wasabi meringue. — The washington post, december 2018

French pastry chef Camille Le Caer is opening his second Maison Le Caer location in the historic building, an ornate, three-story space that runs from 617 Main St. through to Washington Street.
